ITxM Hemapheresis Clinic Now in Chicago |
The ITxM Therapeutics division, which has over 25 years of therapeutic experience working with patients, doctors and hospitals in the Pittsburgh, now brings its apheresis expertise to Chicago, IL.
In July 2011, ITxM’s Hemapheresis Clinic began the first mononuclear cell collections on patients. The procedure is currently performed for Dendreon patients receiving Provenge treatments, the only FDA approved treatment that uses the body's own immune system to fight the disease (http://www.provenge.com). Since July the ITxM staff has performed nearly 100 procedures.
