2011 ITxM Contributions to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society |
Through the generosity of ITxM employees, donors and corporate sponsorship, ITxM has raised over $27,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma society this year. ITxM employees in both Chicago and Pittsburgh helped contribute by participating in the society’s annual "Light the Night" walk and with various ITxM fund raising drives.
As part of the ITxM corporate mission to support the advancement of transfusion medicine, ITxM routinely supports the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in their endeavors to fulfill their mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (http://www.lls.org), founded in 1949, is the world’s largest voluntary health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research, education and patient services.
